End of Season Work-party 2021
FAO All DDAA Members,
The end of season work-party has been arranged for Saturday 6th November at 10am, Loughinisland Lake. Our Club has first class facilities, and in order to ensure that we look after and improve what we have, it’s important that our membership participate in lending their labour for a few hours twice a year. The majority of those attending the work-parties are the same people, so, it would be great to see some new faces, with many hands making lighter work!
On the day, the types of jobs needing carried out are;
- Straw booms to be brought back to shore and emptied for re-use.
- Lifting of private boats out of the water and laid on the bank
- Power washing club boats and checking for repair
- Dory to be removed from water and stored for repair
- Bluebell lodge to be maintained
- Boats lifted from Magheralagan
- General housekeeping such as lifting litter, weeding, brush-cutting.
