Pre-season work-party, Saturday 26/02/2022
Hello Folks,
The pre-season work-party will be on 26th February @ 10am, meeting at the Loughinisland boathouse.
The work party days are especially labour intensive and it takes considerable time and effort to have the important straw booms made and then towed out onto the lake. If this job wasn’t done then the lake would become saturated with algae and your fishing would deteriorate greatly to the point of a cease in fishing.
The usual hand tools are required such as bow saws, shovels, rakes, wheel barrow, protective gloves/ eyewear.
