Magheralagan Lake Temporary Closure!
Magheralagan Lake has been closed to fishing with immediate effect. In an attempt to reduce the number of rudd fry within the lake, we have stocked it earlier than scheduled in an attempt to provide natural predation for the fry as we suspect the ever growing number of them compete heavily for food resources over the winter and as a result, our stocked trout appear to lose condition. This initiative is experimental and we ask you to bear with us as we attempt to address the problem. The lake will reopen as planned on 1st November 2016
